This year the creativity of the volunteers from Friends of Fitzgerald Marine Reserve who walked in Half Moon Bay’s holiday parade was rewarded with a FIRST PRIZE BLUE RIBBON for their Marching Unit! Congratulations gang!

Juvenile red tail hawk drying its wings

This juvenile red tail hawk had just finished a quick bath in San Vicente Creek and was drying its wings on the fence post early one recent morning. On the outer reef the harbor seals are also soaking up the sun in the background.
